Getting around: Blida, the Mitidja and Algiers

Blida is linked to Algiers by the SNTF suburban train, which also serves Boufarik and Beni Mered, and by road (RN1 and motorway): allow about an hour at rush hour. Many Blida residents work in Algiers, and the reverse is true for the Mitidja factories. For business zones, ask whether the employer provides staff transport. For a job in Meftah or Larbaâ, in the east of the wilaya, check the real journey from your town: these zones are often closer to eastern Algiers than to Blida city.
